ClearLedger Automation — Privacy Policy

ClearLedger Automation ("the App") is a personal-use tool built and operated by the owner of the ClearLedger YouTube channel to automate the creation and management of that single channel's content. It is not a public product, is not distributed to other users, and is not used by anyone other than its operator.

What Google user data the App accesses

The App connects to a single Google Account (the one that owns the ClearLedger YouTube channel) via the YouTube Data API v3, using the following OAuth scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload — to upload video files to the ClearLedger channel
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl — to read and manage comments on videos published by the ClearLedger channel

How that data is used

Data obtained through these scopes (video content, video metadata, and comment text) is used solely to operate the ClearLedger channel: uploading new videos as private drafts for the operator's review, and, in future, reading and responding to viewer comments on the operator's own videos. No data obtained through these scopes is sold, shared, or transferred to any third party, and none of it is used for advertising or for any purpose unrelated to operating this one YouTube channel.

Where data is stored

OAuth credentials (the client secret and refresh token) are stored only locally on the operator's own device and are never transmitted to any third-party server or service.

Limited Use disclosure

ClearLedger Automation's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
